Don't Forget to Register for the Auction!!



Join us for this year's Auction, "Celebrating St. Clare - Our Bridge to the Future".

REGISTRATION & SEATING DETAILS
If you are planning to sit with your friends during the auction dinner, please choose a "group name" to use for your table.  Once you have decided on a name, share it with your group and enter the name in the "group nameoption during registration.  Please be sure that your entire group is using the same group name during registration.  


If you are not planning on arranging a table group you can either enter your friends names or your child's grade level in the "special accomodations" section to help us with seating arrangements.  Everyone will be required to enter something in this section.  If you have already entered a group name please just type NA into the special accomodations section.

Procurement Contest!!


Where do I start?
  1. Start with YOU.  What can you personally do or offer?  Are you a chef?  Seamstress?  Painter?  Tutor?  Do you have a boat?  Season tickets?  Vacation home?
  2. Go to FAMILY.  Do any of your relatives have special items, vacation homes, talents they would share with you?
  3. Go to FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS, and ACQUAINTANCES.  Friends can be a great resource.  Someone you know might be able to get a special or hard-to-find service, certificate or experience donated.  
  4. Talk to MERCHANTS, especially ones you frequent.  It can be intimidating at first, but most businesses have a budget for donating to the community.  Businesses are very generous and this is a form of advertising for them.

  • Electronics 
  • Hotels, Resorts, Time Shares, Vacation Homes
  • Restaurant, Theater, Movie Tickets
  • Beauty, Spa, Massage
  • Sporting Event Tickets, Basketball, Baseball, Football
  • Services; Landscaping, Interior Design, Music, Art
  • Be creative; Art, Music, Tutoring....

The prize:
3 Nights/4 Days at a Netarts Beach House
2.5 Br/2Ba

or 

3 Nights/4 Days in Sunriver
4Br/2Ba on golf course

(The winner will choose their prize, and second place wins alternate vacation home)

Do you have questions about REGISTRATION?

This is the first year that the St. Clare Auction is completely digital.  We hope you are as excited about the ease of this new registration process as we are, but just in case it's got you confused here are a few simple tips.

The first question on everyone's mind is, "who will we sit with?".

There are a few different options for you to choose from.

  • The first and easiest option is to arrange a table with your friends.  All tables this year will seat 10 people.  All you need to do is find 4 other couples and all of a sudden you have a full table.  Choose a "group name" to use during registration, and share it with the friends you will be sitting with.  The group name can be anything really, a last name, the name of a bridge, or even your dog's name.  As long as you all use the same "group name" you will all be seated at the table together....EASY!  (See the photo below to find out where to enter the "group name" during registration.)
  • Preschool & Kindergarten parents:  If you would like to sit with other parents from the preschool or kindy class, simply type either "preschool" or "kindergarten" into the "group name" option and you will be seated accordingly....super EASY!  (See the photo below to find out where to enter the "group name" during registration.)

  • The second option is to simply list your friend's names in the "special accommodations" box.  The guest services team will look at your request and seat you accordingly.  (See the photo below to find out where to enter the "group name" during registration.)
  • The third option is to list your child's grade level in the "special accommodations" box.  The guest services team will then seat you with other parents in your child's grade.  (See the photo below to find out where to enter the "group name" during registration.)
  • The fourth option is to type "parish" into the "special accommodations" box.  The guest services team will then seat you accordingly.  (See the photo below to find out where to enter the "group name" during registration.)
  • If you have no preference in seating arrangements, or have already typed in a "group name", then just simply type NA in the "special accommodations" box.  Everyone will be forced to type something in the "special accommodations" box, so feel free to send us a message if you would like or just give us a :).


Don't forget to pre-pay for wine at your table, and for the "sign-up" events!!....oh, so super EASY!

Parent's Night Out - May 21, 2011

Do you need a time out?  Leave your kids with everyone's favorite Preschool teachers and join your friends at Casa Colima for a grown-up Mexican feast!  Kids will have their own party at St. Clare, complete with gym time, movies and games while the grown ups unwind with Mexican food and drinks.  Kids of all ages are welcome.  Drop the kids off at the Preschool at 6:00pm, and the party will begin at 6:30 at Casa Colima Hillsdale.

Auction Wine Drive - Feb 9-11


Please bring one or two bottles (or more) of wine to donate to the Auction.  Volunteers will be collecting wine at drop-off and pick-up on February 9th through February 11th.  Wine donations qualify for family fundraising goals, so please attach your name and the value of the wine to the bottle.  While we are not complete wine snobs here....ahem....please consider the audience for these precious donations!!
